TRUCrew is the TRULAND Equipment kids club. Signing up is free, and members get access to club events at our stores, printable activities to do at home, and videos. It is meant for kids who are curious about equipment, whether or not they grow up to farm. Sign-up takes a minute. If you have questions about the club or upcoming events at a particular location, call the TRULAND store nearest you and our staff can tell you what is planned.
Our stores sit in farm towns across Indiana and Ohio. The people who work at them live in those towns, their kids go to those schools, and they show up at the same fairs and ball games as everyone else. Community events are not a marketing program for us so much as a normal part of being a business in a small town.
Most of what we do is straightforward. We open the doors, put out something for kids to climb on, and let families spend an hour at the store without anyone trying to sell them anything.
TRUCrew is our kids club, and it is free to sign up. Kids who join get access to club events at our stores, printable activities they can do at home, and videos.
The reason we run it is simple. A lot of kids around here are going to grow up around this equipment whether or not they end up farming. Some will run a combine someday, some will just remember sitting in one. Giving them a reason to be curious about how machines work, and a place where they are welcome to look closely, seems worth the effort.
The printable activities are handy for a rainy afternoon or a long winter stretch. The videos are short. Nobody is asking a seven year old to sit through a product presentation. Sign-up takes a minute and there is no cost.

Kids Day of Play at Van Wert, Ohio is Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 9:00am to 11:30am.
Both run for two and a half hours in the morning, which is the right length for small kids and a reasonable ask for parents. Come when you can and leave when you need to. There is no program to sit through.

A few practical notes, since a dealership is a working business with real equipment on the lot.
Kids need to stay with an adult. Equipment areas, the shop and the parts warehouse are not places for children to wander, and there is normally traffic moving through the yard. Closed toe shoes are a good idea. Sun protection in July and August is worth thinking about since a good deal of this happens outside.
Beyond that, let them look. Kids ask better questions about machinery than adults do, and our people generally enjoy answering them.
