The customers we work with are mostly row crop farmers, livestock operations, contractors, landscapers, municipalities and homeowners with acreage. That mix is why the stores carry what they carry. A farm here rarely runs one class of machine, and the same person who buys a combine often needs a zero-turn mower, a Gator and a chainsaw before the year is out.
The phrase dealership group gets used loosely, so it is worth being specific about what it changes for a customer. Three things, mostly.
The first is inventory. When you shop equipment at one of our stores, you are not limited to what is sitting on that lot. Our used inventory spans tractors, harvesting, tillage, planting and seeding, sprayers, hay and forage, grain handling, utility vehicles, compact construction, material handling, attachments, precision ag and lawn and garden equipment across every location. If the right machine is three stores away, that is a logistics question, not a dead end. It also means we can be honest with you about waiting a few weeks for the correct unit instead of pushing what happens to be in the yard.
The second is parts. Every parts counter in the group is a node on a network rather than a standalone shelf. When your store does not have a wear part in the bin, the useful question is which of our stores has one right now and how fast it can move. In January that is a convenience. In the middle of July it decides whether you finish the field.
The third is service capacity. Eighteen locations means more technicians, more service trucks and more shop bays. The part of this that does not scale, and should not, is the people at the counter. Our stores sit in farm towns, and the people who work at them live in those towns. They know which ground floods, which fields go first in the spring, and what you ran two machines ago. That kind of knowledge does not transfer through a call center.

Our grain division has been in the grain storage and handling industry for almost 60 years. That side of the business handles full design and site layout, equipment selection, installation, routine and preventative maintenance, custom millwright services and complete dryer service.
The reason it sits inside an equipment dealership is straightforward. The same operation that buys a combine has to put the crop somewhere, dry it, move it and hold it until they decide to sell. Our own way of describing it is handling all our customer's agricultural needs, from seed to storage.
